Hi Folks! The North Village is really taking shape. Here is a photo of the ring of cabins from the front porch of North Camp Cabin 6! Most sessions have between 15 and 30 campers signed up for the North Village program. Spaces are still available… You could be one of the first to experience it!

2012 Ferranti Memorial Tournament

This Monday, May 21st the Cheshire YMCA will be hosting our annual Bob Ferranti Memorial Golf Tournament at the Keene Country Club in Keene. Proceeds benefit the Cheshire YMCA and our youth programs: Camp Takodah and the Developmental Travel Tours. Players can register for $125, or a foursome for $500. Download the Brochure

We hope you can join us for an afternoon of golf, food, and fun. Golfers need not be experienced or talented. It’s all about the fun! Please spread the word, and bring a friend!

The tournament honors Bob Ferranti, who volunteered for decades with our Travel Programs, sent two generations of children to Takodah, served as a Board President and Senior Director with the Cheshire YMCA, and loved the game of golf.

Construction Begins on Takodah’s North Village

The building permits for the new North Village were approved on Monday Night. After a bit more road prep this week, we have started construction on the 6 new cabins! By the time camp arrives this summer, we will see six cabins, a new Twins (bathroom) facility, and an athletic field. We will keep you posted on the North Village’s progress in the days and weeks to come!
