Boys Camp

The classic summer camp experience! Campers stay for 2 or 4 weeks, and are between 8 and 16 years old. A two or four week Takodah session offers the most program options and the most choices in how a camper spends his day!

Girls Camp

Mini Camp

Mini Camp is great introduction to overnight camping for younger, first-time campers who hasn’t spend a lot of time away from home. The kids at Mini Camp are between 7 and 10 and our older staff (often three per cabin) help them fall in love with Takodah.

Leadership Development Program

Campers finishing their second and third year of high school blend the fun of camp with learning leadership skills. These people will one day go on to become Takodah Staff members! Participants are 15-18 years old.

Adventure and Travel Camp

Adventure and Travel Camps are trips for teenage campers who would like to learn about camping and outdoor sports like rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding, and canoeing. All programs are for campers ages 12 – 17, and many travel away from Camp Takodah.

Family Camp Takodah

At the end of the summer, families of all shapes and sizes come to Takodah to enjoy some elective camp programming and time together. It’s a wonderful, relaxing week with great meals and activities!

Outdoor Education

Camp Takodah’s Outdoor Education Programs involve three core areas: Teambuilding, Adventure, and Environmental Education. Program formats range from one day to week-long experiences. Schools have the option of choosing activities from any of our offerings in a way that best suits the students’ needs.

Woman’s Weekend

This weekend getaway is a time for women to relax and rejuvenate. It’s an opportunity for you and your female friends to enjoy fun classes, delicious meals, and a weekend away from your hectic schedule.
